Reports & insights (Reflect)

The Reflect tab turns your transactions into a picture: where money went, how your net worth is trending, and how much of your income you keep.

Open Reflect

Tap the Reflect tab. The page is titled Money in motion and opens on a set of headline stats, then a row of tabs: Overview, Income, Payees, Savings rate, and Sankey.

At the top, three cards summarize your month:

  • Age of Money - how long the money you spend has been sitting before you spend it.
  • This month - your surplus or deficit, with money in vs money out.
  • Avg savings · 6 mo - the share of income you've kept.

Net worth over time

The Overview tab charts Net worth · stacked by asset class: a 24-month, month-end roll-up where cash and investments stack above zero and liabilities sit below, with a legend for Cash, Investments, Liabilities, and Net worth. A companion trailing 12 monthsview shows your current net worth and how much it's moved since a chosen month.

Spending charts

Also on Overview: a spending donut/pie of your top categories for a month you can scrub between, alongside a spending trend and a comparison with the prior month. Click any slice or row to jump to those transactions in the register.

Savings rate

The Savings rate tab shows the percentage of income you kept this month and your 6-month average, with a bar per month. Savings rate is simply income minus spending, divided by income - a quick gauge of whether you're living within your means.

Other views

  • Income - income and cash flow over a range you choose (today, 1 week, this month, 3/6/12 months).
  • Payees - your top payees of all time; click one for a 12-month trend, or open every transaction for it.
  • Sankey - a flow diagram of income moving out to your spending.

Troubleshooting

A chart says there's not enough data

Trend and Sankey views need a few months of history. Keep logging transactions and they'll fill in over time.

A number looks off

Reports depend on transactions being categorized and transfers being marked as transfers. Fix any miscategorized rows (see Transactions and Spending vs transfers) and the reports update.
